Tipron is a new home robot that project video. It is the new creation of Cerevo, a japanese company focused on creating network consumer devices, as they describe themselves on the official website. Their aim is improving the daily life of all of us. Will they get it?
Let’s talk about Tipron, the robot
It can project a 80 inch screen from a distance of 3 meters. Its transforming functions allows it to project at a variety of different heights and angles and contract to a compact size when not in use. The robot will automatically adjust his height depending on its current operating mode, for example, Tipron can contract to 40 cm height when charging and moving, then expand to 80 cm when projecting or shooting images. Furthermore, images and video up to 1 m high can be projected by adjusting the projection angle.
The robot looks like a rolling eyeball. It will move around the house and project anything on any wall. It was first shown at CES 2016 and the creators said: Tipron can wake up with you, go next to your bed and automatically project news, traffic data, your to do things, calendar or other useful information.
It is supposed to be available next spring, and released in Europe, Japan and the United States. Are you thinking about buying one? It will cost between $1,000 – $2,000.
