Using the thin client function, users can log onto a network and begin to display content in seconds, whether from a local sever, the internet or the cloud, allowing presenters access to files directly through the projector itself.
As long as the UD740U projector is connected and logged on to a network, a Bluetooth-enabled keyboard and mouse, users can access content on a server.
In conjunction with the free SidePad and WiFi Doc applications, presenters can use a mobile device such as a tablet or a smart phone to access, mirror and control a computer that is connected to the projector and the same Wi-Fi network, and present Powerpoint, Excel,
Word, TXT, PPD and JPG files from their iOS or Android devices directly through the projector.
Both the SidePad and Wifi Doc apps are free downloads via the Apple App store or Google Play. The UD740U can also display 3D
content direct from a Blue Ray 3D player.
The UD740U mobile projector offers 4100 lumens of brightness with a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and a lamplife of up to 5000 hours in low mode.
It has a manual lens shift function as standard, so it is suitable for use either a mobile projector for presentations in meetings rooms or as a simple installation model in large conference halls.
The projector also offers HDMI support as well as set-up options for multiple video inputs. It has an RS232 connector and a built-in RJ45 input that offers plug-and-play connectivity.
The UD740U joins the existing 700 series line-up which includes the XD700U (XGA) and the WD720U (WXGA) providing a portable business range suitable for meeting rooms and lecture halls.
