This smaller frame allows connectivity using IP or fiber as well as seamless integration with wireless and third-party devices without external interface frames. The X6R-FX-INTERCOM-IC444 has eight line inputs, eight line outputs, eight GPI and eight GPO with relay and auxiliary power outputs for external circuits. Workplace Stress Makes Healthy Choices Go Up in Smoke

A study of 423 adult American smokers suggests that stress stemming from work-family conflict can lead to an increase in smoking and other unhealthy behaviors. Based on their findings, researchers from the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington encourage employers to implement workplace wellness and smoking cessation programs to help boost employee health. The study, “The Association Between Work-Family Conflict and Smoking Quantity Among Daily Smokers,” found that men and women who smoked daily reported that their smoking increased when conflict from work affected their home life. Safety in Iceland

I’ve just returned from a two-week vacation in Iceland. During that time, I climbed mountains, visited waterfalls, watched geothermal steam pour from the earth, walked on lava fields, shivered by glaciers and much more. Iceland is a beautiful, surreal-seeming country with amazing natural wonders and landscapes – landscapes that come complete with their own safety concerns. From falling into waterfalls to dropping off steep gravel roads to being burned by geothermal steam or water, the risks in Iceland were a little different from what I was used to at home. Extron Electronics’ SpeedMount Ceiling Speaker System The CS 1226T SpeedMount speaker system features the newest speaker innovation from Extron, designed to simplify ceiling speaker installation. The two-piece system consists of the CS 120P plenum rated enclosure and a CS 26T two-way speaker cartridge. A low-voltage contractor places the CS 120P enclosure directly on the ceiling grid without the need for a tile bridge, C-ring, or tile rails. Signal wiring is then routed to the enclosure.
