German cruise ships finalise intercom rollout

RTS was the chosen manufacturer for intercoms and AIDAstella, AIDAluna, AIDAblu and AIDAsol are all equipped with independent intercom systems. These secure communications sit within the Theatrium in the central area of the ship as well as on the pool deck. There is also a third system onboard each ship reserved for mobile applications. DPA shotgun microphones solve opera problem

Torino University in 30-classroom AV rollout

Torino University A Harman BSS Audio Soundweb London system has been fitted to manage the classroom’s audio and video control.  The facilities include six lecture rooms, each containing approximately 150 seats, 28 classrooms, and a grand assembly hall with 300 seats, which is also occasionally used to stage small concerts. Playback is all through JBL loudspeakers. Distracted Driving Spotlight: San Diego

A new survey reveals that 30 percent of San Diego drivers use cell phones while driving with some regularity – and the majority of drivers transporting young children use their phones to text or chat. “In this study, we were looking for the distracted driving trends of adults with children and employees.
