Roy Martin, signagelive Van Domburg Partners is the largest distributor of Samsung displays and associated technologies in the Netherlands, supplying professional and consumer electronics to the wholesale market in the Benelux. Signagelive is the only company to date that has developed a commercial offering (comprising a portfolio of vertical-specific applications with preconfigured templates) for Samsung’s Smart Signage Platform developed for commercial use. B-Tech opens office in China

B-Tech China Office There are four staff at the new base in Ningbo – two hours south of Shanghai – which acts as a regional sales and distribution centre for the Asia-Pacific region. Staff in China will be responsible for product quality control, factory inspections, logistics support as well as sales and distribution. One member of staff is Yun Yang, a project and sales manager who has a Masters degree from Nottingham University in the UK. Sleep Disorders Spell Safety, Productivity Concerns at Work

Workers who suffer from sleep disorders may experience fatigue that can harm their productivity or even result in serious safety concerns. As part of its Healthy Workforce Now initiative, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) is working to raise awareness surrounding sleep disorders and their impacts on worker health and productivity. Acute or chronic insomnia is one of the most prevalent sleep disorders. In my recent Break Room column, “Broken Glass,” I wrote about a 2007 fatal workplace shooting that occurred in a McDonald’s near my home.
